Sottomarina Beach
This live camera shows the beach of Sottomarina, located on the same name peninsula in the city of Chioggia, in the Veneto region in northeastern Italy. As can be clearly seen in the webcam, Sottomarina beach is very large and clean. There is fine soft sand and palm trees that fall into the lens of an online camera. You can also see a large number of bathing establishments, some of which are equipped with slides, pools and play grounds for children. The beach is rich in minerals: quartz, augite and silicates.
Sottomarina, where the live broadcast comes from, is a peninsula that extends to the lagoon of Venice. Some parts of the lagoon’s shoreline comprise the barrier islands of Pellestrina and Lido in the middle and the Cavallino Peninsula in the north.
Chioggia
Chioggia with the webcam is located in the south of the province of Venice, on the border with the Venetian lagoon, on the Adriatic Sea, near the mouth of the Adige River and the Po Delta. Since there are many canals in Chioggia, it is called Little Venice. In 1987, Chioggia entered in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

In the square near the church there is a bell tower of the 14th century, at the entrance depicting the Virgin Mary with the Baby Jesus and the patron saints.
Another interesting church – Sant’Andrea was built in 1743. Next to this temple there is the Romanesque tower “Torre dell’Orologio” of 950.
