Cathedral Square in Belgorod

Cathedral Square in the webcam is the main square of Belgorod. It appeared in the 17th century. In the past, the square with an online camera was called Bolshaya, later – Revolution Square.

In the west of Cathedral Square online there is Holy Trinity Boulevard, at the beginning of which there is a monument to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. An eternal flame burns nearby. Walking along the boulevard, you can reach to the cave of Joasaph and further to the Martha-Mariinsky monastery.

On the north side of Cathedral Square in the web camera there is the administration building of the Belgorod Region, built in 1956. In front of this building there is a monument “City of Military Glory”. The Belgorod hotel is adjacent to it.

Not far from the regional administration building, on the eastern side of the square in the online live camera there is a house with large classical columns – the Office of the Agro-Industrial Complex. Nearby, in a building with a clock, there is the Belgorod Center of Statistics.

To the south of Cathedral Square, shown in a live broadcast, stands the Belgorod Drama Theatre named after Shchepkin of 1962, and next to it there is the chapel of St. Prince Vladimir.

Belgorod direction “, which contains the largest canvas in Russia, depicting one of the crucial battles – the tank battle near Prokhorovka. The museum is located in the city center, in Victory Park. The main part of the walking area is occupied by the memorial complex “Eternal Memory”.

One of the oldest churches in Belgorod in this online camera is the Smolensk Cathedral, built over 3 centuries ago.

Among the main symbols of the city in the live stream, an important place is occupied by the Monument to Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, which rises on the Kharkov Mountain.

At the intersection of Narodny Boulevard and 50th Anniversary Street of the Belgorod Region, a sun clock is installed, showing the time with an accuracy of 10 minutes.

Climate
