Senigallia, whose beach is visible in a live camera, is the port city of Italy, located at the distance of 25 km from Ancona.
Senigallia, of course, is rich in excellent beaches, one of which you can see in the online camera. Besides, the resort has one of the best beaches on the Adriatic coast – Spiaggia di Velluto, stretching for 13 km along the entire coast of Senigallia. In 1987, 1997 and 1998, Spiaggia di Velluto Beach received the Blue Flag international award for clean water.

The historical center of Senigallia, where there is live broadcast comes from, preserves the ancient Roman streets, among which there is the main attraction of the city – the military fortress of Kokka-Rovereska of the 15th century.

An important historical attraction is the Rocca Roveresca Palace, built for the Duke of Guidobaldo II by the architects Girolamo and Bartolomeo Genga in the middle of the 16th century. The interior of the palace is adorned with the stucco ceiling made by sculptor Taddeo Zuccari.

The real symbol of Senigallia, whose beach is shown online, is the Rotonda marine platform, which served as a meeting place for the elite in the summer.

Among the cultural attractions of Senigallia in the webcam, the museum of Pope Pius IX with Giovanni Ferretti relics, who in 1846 became Pope Pius IX, is worth attention.

In the diocesan gallery of sacred art there are works of Federico Barocci, Andrea Lilly, Giovanni Donducci, Ercole Ramazzani, Camilla Guerrieri, Giovanni Anastasi.

The most popular local dish is the roasted pork “porchetta”, cooked in a wood-fired oven and seasoned with wild fennel. If you add red wine of “Lacrima di Morro d’Alba” the dinner will be unforgettable. Senigalia’s white wines are represented by the “Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jes” and “Bianchello del Metauro” brands.

Another national delicacy is “pizza con il formaggio”. This is pecorino sheep cheese mixed with dough. Also, we recommend to taste the “brodetto senigalliese” fish soup and the local “ciambellone” dessert.
