In this webcam you can see the city of Chelyabinsk, located on the eastern slope of the Ural Mountains on both banks of the Iset tributary – the Miass River, on the geological border of the Urals and Siberia. From the west and north, the city is surrounded by a pine forest.

Chelyabinsk, shown in an online camera, appeared in 1736 on the banks of the Miass River as a guard fortress on the way to the newly built Orenburg.
